The ASCE Met Section Geotechnical Group has opened registration for the 34th Annual Kapp Lecture and 5th Annual Meet & Greet Dinner, to be held January 15, 2009.  The topic is "Design of Foundations for the World's Tallest Structures" by Clyde N. Baker, Jr., PE, SE, Hon.M.ASCE.  Details posted on the Geo-Institute website.
